The Henry Ford is proud to host its 6th and final Harry Potter film—that’s nearly 150,000 Harry Potter fans served in our theatre over the past decade.  We are celebrating with a weekend filled with sorcery and magic!  

Premiere Screening Event

Our Midnight screening has already sold outTickets are still available for a second screening at 2:45 AM.  Enjoy concession specials, costume contests, a cash bar and entertainment--Hogwarts-style. 

Quidditch Tournament
Friday, July 15th
Front Lawn, Henry Ford Museum
Anyone for a game of Muggle Quidditch?  Join us on the front lawn of Henry Ford Museum for a Quidditch tournament—yes, actual teams competing in the game adapted from J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter books.  The International Quidditch Association governs play of this young and rapidly growing sport and boasts more than 1,000 teams across the globe.  Watch teams from local universities, including Michigan State University and Oakland University, face-off complete with broomsticks and snitches.   The teams will also hold informational and instructional clinics so you can try it yourself!
Clinics:  11:00 AM and 12:00 PM
Games:  2:00 PM and 4:30 PM

Live Owls
Saturday, July 16th
IMAX Lobby, 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
The magic continues through the weekend with special guests in our Theatre on Saturday, courtesy of the Leslie Science and Nature Center in Ann Arbor.  Live owls will be on display in the IMAX lobby and handlers will be present to answer questions about these magnificent birds.

The final adventure in the Harry Potter film series follows Harry, Ron and Hermione as they prepare for a final battle with Lord Voldemort, who is determined to destroy Harry once and for all. In order to defeat the powerful wizard, they must find and destroy Voldemort's last and most elusive Horcrux -- that is, the enchanted piece of soul allowing him to remain immortal -- before his nefarious plans come to fruition.

Tickets are available online at www.thehenryford.org/imax, or by phone through The Henry Ford Call Center (open 7 days a week, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm) 313-982-6001.  Tickets can be mailed when reservations are made 2 weeks or more in advance.  Tickets purchased less than 2 weeks in advance will be held at IMAX Will Call. 

Please park in the IMAX Theater lot on the west side of Henry Ford Museum.  Parking is always FREE for IMAX-only guests.

The Henry Ford is located in Dearborn, Michigan on the corner of Village Road and Oakwood Boulevard, just west of the Southfield Freeway (M-39) and south of Michigan Avenue (US-12).

From the East or West via I-94:
Take I-94 to the Oakwood Boulevard exit; go north on Oakwood. The Henry Ford is 2.5 miles from the exit on the corner of Village Road and Oakwood Boulevard.
From the South via I-75:
Exit to northbound Southfield Freeway (M-39); drive 4.1 miles to Oakwood Boulevard (Exit 4). Left on Oakwood and drive 1.8 miles.
From the North via Southfield Road (or I-96):
Take Southfield Freeway (M-39) south 4.5 miles past I-96 and exit at Michigan avenue (Exit 6). Continue on the Southfield service drive (veer left) for .5 mile. At the first stoplight, turn right onto Village Road (through the iron gates) and drive .75 mile.
