The threat of nuclear attack during the Cold War exposed a new generation to the dangers of technology gone awry. "Duck and cover" was an exercise students practiced for protection in the event of an atomic bomb being dropped while at school. This exhibit space replicates a 1950s classroom and invites you to participate in a "duck and cover" drill.
