Shipping Policy
We reserve the right to choose the method of shipment (e.g. UPS, USPS, FedX, etc.). We offer two levels of service for the U.S. market: "Standard" (3-10 days) or "Rush" (2-5 days). [Exception: Alaska and Hawaii have one level of service: "Standard" (5-10 days)]. We offer one level of service for the Canadian market: "Standard" (7-10 days). We offer one level of service for the International market: "Standard" (10-14 days). These lead times are estimates only and may vary based on prevailing conditions (e.g. weather, carrier problems, etc.).

We do not ship to P.O. boxes or APO/FPO addresses. Shipments to Alaska and Hawaii are available only with the "Standard" level of service (but are charged at the "Rush" pricing).

Disputes
Any dispute relating in any way to your visit or to products you purchase through this website shall be submitted to confidential arbitration in San Diego, California. The arbitrator's award shall be binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction. Privacy Policy
We collect information needed to process your order and contact you later (if that is necessary). This information may be used to perform basic customer service (e.g. communicate a UPS Tracking Number or advise you of a problem we are having with your order). Our primary method of communication is email, but we do require your phone number in case we are not able to connect via email or the issue at hand would be resolved more easily with person-to-person conversation.
We collect the following information:

  • Billing Name and Address (exactly as used with your Credit Card account)
  • Shipping Name and Address

This information is shared with third parties only to the extent required to fulfill your order. We do not sell or expose your data to third parties for purposes of marketing other products or services. We may use this information to communicate new purchase opportunities on the website in the future, but you will be able to "opt out" of such communications by responding appropriately to the message.

We do not collect or store any information related to your credit card. When you have completed your shopping and proceed to check-out, you are passed to a secure site hosted by VeriSign (a leading provider of credit card processing services) where your credit card information is entered and processed. If your payment is processed successfully, you are passed back to our site to complete the order process (i.e. the order is initiated and a confirming email is sent to you).

We do not use "Cookies" on this website. Cookies are tiny text files that are stored on your computer when you visit certain web pages that record your order details, identifying account numbers or preferences and may be used to identify you on subsequent visits. We do use "Session Cookies" to track your order details - temporary files in memory that are deleted as soon as your session has completed. If your browser security settings block the use of "Session Cookies", you will not be able to use this site.

TICKET PURCHASES
All online ticket purchases are non-refundable, non-exchangeable.  Events at The Henry Ford are held rain or shine, even outdoor events.

Tickets that are purchased online at least 14 days (2 weeks) prior to the event will be mailed directly to you.  Tickets purchased less than 14 days prior will be held in Will Call.  Will Call locations vary depending on the special event or venue.  Special event Will Call is located as close as possible to the entrance of the event.  Check the specific event page (located through the calendar on the homepage) for specific event details.  See the venue chart below for daily venue Will Call locations.

If you plan to pick up your Will Call tickets prior to the day of your arrival, please call our Call Center at 313-982-6001 to arrange a pick up location and time.  Your tickets will not be at the locations above until the date of your visit.

Children 4 and under are free to the Museum and Village. Children age 2 and under that do not require their own seat are free to the Ford Rouge Factory Tour and the IMAX Theatre.  These free admissions are not available online.  Please inform a cashier or ticket attendant upon arrival if there are children under 4 (or under 2 for IMAX and Ford Rouge) in your party.

A $2.50 service fee for orders online or through the Call Center and a $5.00 parking and road maintenance fee will be charged for all orders. Members and IMAX-only patrons will not be charged for parking.

Group admission
Groups of 15 or more are eligible for discounted group admission prices. Group reservations must be made at least 24 hours in advance in order for group discount pricing to apply.  Group reservations cannot be made online at this time.  Please contact our Call Center at 313-982-6001 Monday-Sunday, 9:00am-5:00pm

Parking
A $5.00 parking and road maintenance fee will be charged for all orders. Members and IMAX-only patrons will not be charged for parking. Spaces are available for buses and RVs.  We do not have parking gates or booths. All fees are collected at the point of ticket purchase either on site, through the Call Center or the web site.  If you are purchasing in advance over the phone or on our web site, you will be assessed this fee upon the time of purchase, not upon arrival.

MEMBERSHIP PURCHASES

All online membership purchases are non-refundable, non-exchangeable. 

All membership cards will be mailed to you directly with one exception: If you have purchased your membership in combination with an event ticket and it is less than 2 weeks prior to this event, your membership will be held at event will call with your tickets.  If you wish to pick up your membership cards at an earlier date, please contact our membership hotline:  313.982.6001, press 2.

When visiting with your membership, please remember to bring your photo ID.  You will be asked to show your valid card and ID at the venue gates.
