Picnic with Thomas Edison: 12pm - 1pm 
Bring your lunch and Join Thomas Edison and his men for a picnic at Menlo. Discuss their current findings and take in the smells of one of Sarah Jordan’s famous pies. 

Build a Lightbulb: 9:30am - 5pm
Create a filament and conduct a lightbulb experiment like Thomas Edison. 

Produce a Battery: 9:30am - 5pm
Can potatoes power a lightbulb? How about lemons? Test produce as batteries as you work to create light!

Design with an Electric Pen: 9:30am - 5pm 
Take home a piece of art, drawn by an electric pen that you design.

An in-depth demonstration of the invention that made Thomas Edison famous…the phonograph. This is the technology that captured sound. Listen to the great, great grandparent of the MP3!

Diamond Disc Phonograph: 9:30am - 5pm
For this day only, take in the sounds of the Edison Diamond Disc Phonograph from the collection of the Henry Ford. View and listen to Edison’s first foray into the disc sound recording market.
