Join us this summer for a limited-engagement pop-up exhibit to learn more about the acquisitions we've recently made that relate to the history and lived experiences of LGBTQ+ people.
Explore more than 50 years of LGBTQ+ history in “OUT!: LGBTQ+ Visibility and Identity,” a limited-engagement pop-up exhibit from The Henry Ford. Learn how LGBTQ+ communities have used a variety of communication networks to connect, educate, and resist discrimination, as well examples of queer-positive and diverse forms of gender expression.
These artifacts do not sit still. The stories and lives represented here are evidence of turning points and triumphs - and ongoing battles - of the LGBTQ+ community individually, communally, and societally
