- A.L. Maxey "Challenger Jr." Model Race Car Kit, 1946-1950 - Tether cars, gas-powered model race cars, were popular in the 1930s and 1940s. They were raced individually while tethered to a central pivot, or against each other on a scaled-down board track. The A.L. Maxey Company of Burbank, California, produced this kit of an unpowered streamlined car in the late 1940s.

- Driver Chris Amon at the Indianapolis 500 Race, May 1967 - Chris Amon drove in Formula One races from 1963 to 1976, making 96 starts and earning 11 podium finishes. In 1966 he partnered with fellow New Zealander Bruce McLaren to win the 24 Hours of Le Mans in a Ford GT40. Though Amon never won an F1 Grand Prix race, he was widely considered one of the sport's best drivers.
