- Salon Chair, circa 1960 - Velma Truant (1928-2021) began her hairstyling career at the Detroit Hudson's department store salon in the late 1940s. When she left Hudson's in 1963 to care for her young daughter, Truant acquired this chair and a matching hair dryer and set up a salon in the basement of her Allen Park, Michigan, home. She served clients there until the early 1980s.

Velma Truant (1928-2021) began her hairstyling career at the Detroit Hudson's department store salon in the late 1940s. When she left Hudson's in 1963 to care for her young daughter, Truant acquired this chair and a matching hair dryer and set up a salon in the basement of her Allen Park, Michigan, home. She served clients there until the early 1980s.
- Hool Machine & Engraving Works #3067 Pattern Roll - Bookbinders use finishing tools to add decoration to the leather spine and covers of a book. The tools are often heated and then stamped, pressed, or rolled onto the leather. Decoration can be as simple as thin straight lines or rounded arcs, or as intricate as ornate patterns, scrolls, or floral designs.

- Smoker, circa 1920 - The Funsten Perfect Smoker allowed trappers and hunters to flush furry animals from the safety of their dens. Hunters filled the long canister with flammable material (sometimes sprinkled with sulfur powder) and then lit it, creating smoke that is puffed into a burrow. Funsten Brothers & Company, a leading trapping supplier established in the late 1800s, sold this smoker.
