- Hull of Freighter "Oneida" Loaded with Automobile Parts, circa 1924 - In the 1920s, Henry Ford assembled a fleet of cargo carriers, ocean-going ships, barges, tugboats and canal boats to bring raw materials to or take finished products from his new manufacturing complex on the Rouge River. The <em>Oneida</em>, a small ocean-going freighter acquired in 1923, carried automobile parts to Ford plants along America's Atlantic and Gulf coasts, and to foreign plants in South America and Europe.

- 1927 Boeing Model 40-B2 Biplane - Subsidies from the federal government for air mail encouraged the development of improved long-distance aircraft like the Boeing 40. The key to the Boeing's success was the use of a lightweight air-cooled radial engine which allowed it to carry the mail and two paying passengers. This plane flew between Chicago and San Francisco, making 12 fuel stops along the way.

- RadWagon 5 Electric Cargo Bicycle, 2025 - E-bikes with electric motors to assist in pedaling represented a growing share of the bicycle market in the 2020s. This RadWagon 5 features a 750-watt electric motor mounted in the rear hub, with a top speed of 28 miles per hour. Its extended frame accommodates extra cargo or -- when fitted with added handlebars and running boards -- children riding on the back.
