- Ferrari Cars in the 24 Heures du Mans (24 Hours of Le Mans) Race, June 1967 - When Ford Motor Company went to Le Mans, it went to compete against the best drivers, teams, and automobiles in the world. Porsche, Alfa Romeo, Lotus, and other respected marques were all represented in the race at various times. But no rival was more formidable than Italian automaker Ferrari, whose cars claimed six consecutive wins from 1960 to 1965.

- 1966 24 Hours of Le Mans -- Item261 - Chris Amon (in dark jacket) won the 1966 Le Mans 24-Hour with Bruce McLaren. The two New Zealanders co-piloted the #2 Ford GT40 Mark II, campaigned by the Shelby American racing team. Amon started in 96 Formula One races during his 13-year career, and he earned 11 podium finishes. He competed at Le Mans a total of eight times.
