- Jim Bishop with Electrical Equipment for The Henry Ford Collections, 1931 - Jim Bishop worked with Henry Ford at Edison Illuminating Company in the 1890s, and he helped Ford build his Quadricycle automobile in 1896. While Ford left to enter the budding auto industry, Bishop remained at Edison Illuminating and joined the company's executive ranks. Later, Bishop collected electrical power equipment for Ford's Edison Institute museum in Dearborn, Michigan.
