- 1966 24 Hours of Le Mans -- Item566 - New Zealander Denny Hulme drove the #1 Ford GT40 Mark II with Ken Miles at the 1966 24 Hours of Le Mans. Hulme took second place in his only Le Mans appearance. He competed in 112 Grand Prix events and won the 1967 Formula One World Drivers' Championship. Hulme won the Can-Am Championship in 1968 and 1970.

Hulme and Miles finished second, while Gurney and Grant were knocked out of the race by engine problems.

This photo shows drivers Jackie Stewart and Denny Hulme at Indianapolis Motor Speedway in May 1967. A.J. Foyt won the Indianapolis 500 that year. Hulme came in fourth while Stewart finished in 18th place.

This photo shows drivers Jackie Stewart and Denny Hulme at Indianapolis Motor Speedway in May 1967. A.J. Foyt won the Indianapolis 500 that year. Hulme came in fourth while Stewart finished in 18th place.
