- Tour Boat near Atlantic City, New Jersey, 1949 - The beaches of Atlantic City, New Jersey, have been drawing tourists and pleasure seekers since before the Civil War. The first segment of the city's famous boardwalk opened in 1870. Swimming, boating, resort hotels, nightclubs, and -- in more recent years -- casinos continue to attract visitors from throughout the Mid-Atlantic United States and beyond.

The beaches of Atlantic City, New Jersey, have been drawing tourists and pleasure seekers since before the Civil War. The first segment of the city's famous boardwalk opened in 1870. Swimming, boating, resort hotels, nightclubs, and -- in more recent years -- casinos continue to attract visitors from throughout the Mid-Atlantic United States and beyond.
- Henry Ford with Ford Model K Race Car on Beach in New Jersey, 1905 - Henry Ford's most unsuccessful racing car used a six-cylinder engine from the Ford Model K passenger car. In 1905 Ford attempted to set new world speed records in the car on the beaches at both Atlantic City and Cape May, New Jersey, but failed each time. Here Henry faces the camera while mechanics work on the car behind him.

This booklet provides an overview of the Administration Building at the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, factory, and describes the mural decorations which adorn its walls.

The company had a wide-ranging stock of original photographs, including many scenes from around the world. These colorful prints were reproduced for ads, purchased to decorate homes and offices, bought as souvenirs, and used as teaching tools in schools and libraries.

These colorful prints were reproduced for ads, purchased to decorate homes and offices, bought as souvenirs, and used as teaching tools in schools and libraries.
- Inside the Heinz Ocean Pier, Atlantic City, New Jersey, 1904 - The Heinz Ocean Pier, opened 1898, was the Heinz Company's costliest and most ambitious venture. It is here that the "57 Varieties" slogan became synonymous with the company. Open year-round, the Pier included product displays, free samples, slide lectures of the company's Pittsburgh plant, an impressive art collection, and free pickle pins. A hurricane destroyed the building in 1944.
