One form -- cubes with pictures on each face -- challenged users with the possibility of multiple solutions. This set of 24 wooden blocks could be combined to create one of six illustrated scenes, a map of the United States, or the alphabet.

- Members of the Grand Army of the Republic (G.A.R.) Visiting Mount Vernon, September 21, 1892 - The Grand Army of the Republic (G.A.R.), a Union veterans' organization formed in 1866, held state and national conventions or "encampments" where members could reunite with other Civil War veterans. During these encampments, many veterans toured nearby attractions. At the National Encampment in Washington, D.C., in 1892, nearly 30,000 G.A.R. members descended on Mount Vernon, the home of George Washington.
