IMAX Theatre Educator Open House
March 2, 2013 (9:30am – 5:30pm)

Join us for an Educator Open House at The Henry Ford IMAX Theatre!

Receive FREE admission to preview our current educational films in the IMAX Theatre. Educators can see our new film, Flight of the Butterflies 3D featuring the remarkable Monarch butterfly migration and the determined scientist who spent 40 years trying to discover exactly where the butterflies mysteriously disappeared when they flew south for winter. In addition, our current films Rocky Mountain Express and Space Junk 3D will be available- and free- for educators who register. Additional tickets for guests can be purchased onsite (members of The Henry Ford receive 15% off all IMAX tickets.)

Open House Show Schedule: Saturday, March 2, 2013
You may choose to attend any of the films at the below times. Please register below for the event (no need to register for a specific show). Please plan to arrive at least 20 minutes prior to the show-time so you have time to check in. Each show is approximately 45 minutes. There will be a brief introduction prior to each show.

To check-in, head to the IMAX Lobby at least 20 minutes prior to the film of your choice
(9:30am-5:15pm; first film begins at 10:00AM, last film begins at 5:35PM)

All participants must check in at the registration desk in the IMAX lobby.
Teachers must provide credentials (certification or school ID).

**Please note that the IMAX Educator Open House event is exclusively for educators. Educators may view any film they choose at any time within the below schedule, each film is free and educators may choose more than one if they wish. Guests / family members of educators will be required to purchase tickets for each person and each individual film.

The Henry Ford is located in Dearborn, Michigan on the corner of Village Road and Oakwood Boulevard, just west of the Southfield Freeway (M-39) and south of Michigan Avenue (US-12).

From the East or West via I-94:
Take I-94 to the Oakwood Boulevard exit; go north on Oakwood. The Henry Ford is 2.5 miles from the exit on the corner of Village Road and Oakwood Boulevard.

From the South via I-75:
Exit to northbound Southfield Freeway (M-39); drive 4.1 miles to Oakwood Boulevard (Exit 4). Left on Oakwood and drive 1.8 miles.

From the North via Southfield Road (or I-96):
Take Southfield Freeway (M-39) south 4.5 miles past I-96 and exit at Michigan avenue (Exit 6). Continue on the Southfield service drive (veer left) for .5 mile. At the first stoplight, turn right onto Village Road (through the iron gates) and drive .75 mile.
