The Henry Ford Holiday Greens & Tree Lot
Begins November 28, 2014 (Daily 9:30am–5pm until supplies last)
Remember the smell of Christmas trees? You know — spicy and sweet and exquisitely piney. What happened to that smell? Back then, most people used balsam fir trees. Not now. Well, we missed that smell. So we searched around and found a Nova Scotia tree grower who still raises balsam firs. And they’re just like we remembered: a rich, deep green with a lithe, willowy shape. And there’s that luscious smell, too. Balsam firs — start the tradition all over again.

The Henry Ford Holiday Greens & Tree Lot is located on the front lawn of the museum near the entrance to Greenfield Village.
