Michigan Invention Convention
How can we empower the next generation to learn from failure, stay curious, and challenge the rules?
The Michigan Invention Convention (MIC) provides students in grades 3-12 an interactive and interdisciplinary opportunity to use the invention process to create and pitch an original product at a state-wide convention. Students will build their critical thinking and entrepreneurial skills and may have the opportunity to compete in the National Invention Convention Entrepreneurship Expo.
MIC is much more than a competition. The Henry Ford hopes that the Michigan Invention Convention will bring together problem-solvers, inventors, and entrepreneurs of all ages, backgrounds, and disciplines.
2019 Michigan Invention Convention
Michigan Invention Convention will be held April 27, 2019 at the Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation.
