From lantern-lit streets and glowing jack-o'-lantern paths to shadowy historic homes and spellbinding tales, bring your family and friends for an evening where autumn lore mingles with things that go bump in the night.
Encounter more than 50 costumed characters — from the Headless Horseman and the Grim Reaper to Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan and other childhood hallmarks — alongside dramatic literary vignettes, live musical performances, fall treats and village-wide lighting and sound effects that grow spookier as twilight falls.
Drawing from centuries of harvest customs, Hallowe'en in Greenfield Village blends the spirited charm of 18th- and 19th-century traditions with the wonder, magic and mischief of the season. Designed to delight visitors of all ages, this one-of-a-kind program conjures a memory-making evening for all.
Enhance your visit with add-on experiences like the Hallowe'en Express — a fan-favorite train ride that winds along a ghoulish and surprising journey through Greenfield Village. Tickets & Reservations
Due to high seasonal demand, we recommend purchasing tickets to Hallowe’en in Greenfield Village in advance. Tickets sell quickly each year.
- General admission tickets for Hallowe'en in Greenfield Village can be purchased online, on-site at any open ticketing location or by calling our Contact Center at 313.982.6001.
- Tickets for our special dining experiences — Hallowe'en Fairy Tale Feast, Eagle Tavern Harvest Supper, and All Hallows Dinner at Stand 44 — are available online and by phone. Dining tickets cannot be purchased on-site.
Ticket purchasers can join an online queue at 8:30 a.m. ET for first access to tickets starting at 9:00 a.m. ET on both the member and public on-sale dates.

Hallowe'en Express Train Tickets: $5 per person (Free for children under 2)
Tickets for the Hallowe'en Express are an additional $5 per person (free for children under 2) with time slots available from 6:00-9:15 p.m. in 15-minute increments. Guests with 6:00 and 6:15 p.m. train times are able to access the village early beginning at 5:30 p.m. in order to arrive on time for their time slot. Several program elements and vignettes of the Hallowe'en Express will be new in 2025.
All train tickets are timed and depart from Smiths Creek Station. Please arrive at the station 15 minutes before your ticket time.
Walk-up Hallowe'en Express tickets can be purchased on-site if capacity is available.
NEW! Members-Only Eagle Lane Shuttle: $5 per person
Bypass traffic with a convenient new shuttle service that takes guests directly from the Shuttle Lot on Village Road into the heart of Hallowe’en in Greenfield Village — between Eagle Tavern, J. R. Jones General Store and the Village Green.
This convenient entry option is an additional $5 per person and available via advance purchase only online or via the Call Center.
Please note that this is a member-exclusive add-on. The Eagle Lane Shuttle is not available for our premium dining packages.

Hallowe'en Dining Packages
Dining packages can be purchased only in advance online or by phone. Please note that dining packages cannot be purchased on-site. Walk-up reservations are not available.
Each ticket includes dining, taxes, general admission to Hallowe'en in Greenfield Village and a timed ticket to ride the Hallowe'en Express, plus early access to the event before the general public.

- Of course! Costumes are a fun way to celebrate the season; however, swords, sharp instruments and other weapons, real or imagined, are not allowed.
- Is there a timed entry?
Each of our premium dining packages include early access to Hallowe'en in Greenfield Village that varies by experience.
Guests with 6:00 and 6:15 p.m. Hallowe'en Express tickets are able to access the village early beginning at 5:30 p.m. in order to arrive on time for their time slot.
Otherwise, all other guests can arrive anytime between 6:00 p.m. and 9:45 p.m. Please note that the event ends at 10:00 p.m.
- Where do I park?
Standard parking is available in the West Lot off Oakwood Boulevard and adjacent to the Museum Welcome Center, as well as the East Lot off Village Road.
New in 2025, we're offering a convenient members-only shuttle service that takes guests directly from the Shuttle Lot on Village Road into the heart of Hallowe'en in Greenfield Village — between Eagle Tavern, J. R. Jones General Store and the Village Green. Shuttle tickets are an additional $5 per person and available via advance purchase only online or via Call Center.

The Hallowe’en Express departs from Smiths Creek Station. Please reference this map of Greenfield Village for exact location details.
Walking time from The Henry Ford's parking lots to Smiths Creek Station is roughly 30 minutes. Please arrive at the station 15 minutes before your scheduled ticket time.
Guests with 6:00 and 6:15 p.m. Hallowe'en Express tickets are able to access the village early beginning at 5:30 p.m. in order to arrive on time for their time slot.
- What if I arrive late for the Hallowe’en Express?
- Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled departure time. We will do our best to accommodate guests who miss the train, but this cannot be guaranteed since this experience is often at full capacity for each time slot.
- Will the carousel be open?
- Yes, the carousel will be open all evening and is free to all guests.
- Will the playground be open?
- Yes, the playground will be open until dark.
- Is there a time limit for my visit?
- There is no time limit for your visit. We encourage guests to take advantage of all Hallowe’en has to offer.
- Will on-site restaurants be open?
- Several full-scale restaurants will be open in addition to pop-up dining experiences:
- Stand 44: 6:00-9:45 p.m.
- A Taste of History: 6:00-10:00 p.m.
- Frozen Custard: 6:00-10:00 p.m.
- Sir John Bennett Sweet Shop: 6:00-9:00 p.m.
- Carousel Concessions: 6:00-9:00 p.m.
- Covered Bridge Concessions: 6:00-9:00 p.m.

- Do your restaurants accommodate dietary restrictions?
- The Henry Ford Culinary, Catering and Food Service teams work very hard to ensure that there is a wide variety of seasonal food offerings for vegan, gluten-free and allergen-sensitive guests.

- Does The Henry Ford offer refunds or exchanges in the event of rain?
Hallowe'en in Greenfield Village is held rain or shine and will be canceled only in the case of severe or dangerous weather; no refunds or exchanges will be given due to inclement weather. Dangerous conditions are determined by The Henry Ford in cooperation with local emergency services.
Please note that certain program elements may be suspended during the event in the case of lightning or other severe weather conditions.
- Do you offer ticket insurance?
Yes, we offer FanShield Ticket Protection by Protecht.

Join us for an evening of 19th-century Hallowe'en fun inside our famed Eagle Tavern. Visitors from the past will fill your evening with music and harvest games. Stroll down a path illuminated with hundreds of hand-carved jack-o’-lanterns and revel in the sights and sounds of Hallowe'en.
