About the Program

The Henry Ford partners with community-based organizations that provide direct social services to underserved and underrepresented clientele in the metropolitan Detroit area. Through these partnerships, The Henry Ford provides free general admission for on-site shared family experiences (family broadly defined to include parents/children, mentors/mentees, caregivers/clients, etc.) for the communities they serve, networking opportunities, and access to resources that may further benefit our partner organizations to help inspire a brighter future.

Since its launch in 2006, The Henry Ford's Community Outreach Program has grown to include over 120 nonprofit organizations that offer a wide range of services, including after-school tutoring, mentoring, basic needs, job training, accessibility, veterans services, foster care and child welfare, and terminal disease care.
