Blind and Low Vision

Tactile tours are available for Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation with at least three weeks' advance notice. These tours are an hour and a half in length and include opportunities to touch various artifacts and models of artifacts throughout the museum. If you are interested in requesting a tactile tour, please email accessibility@thehenryford.org.

Virtual verbal description programs with detailed descriptions of images are held throughout the year. These programs are accessible via web link and call-in phone number. Our next virtual verbal description program ("Thomas Commeraw Pottery") is scheduled for Thursday, May 11, from 2-4 p.m. Please email accessibility@thehenryford.org for more information and to register.
