A visit to Greenfield Village invites you into farms, kitchens and dining rooms that hosted family meals and extraordinary feasts of the past. Enjoy those flavors at A Taste of History restaurant where seasonal and historically minded recipes are as fresh and delightful now as they were years ago. Stop in daily to see what we're cooking up at each of our themed stations:

  • Jackson Home
    Features favorites of the Jackson family and popular 1960s Southern recipes sourced from the cookbook A Date with a Dish by Freda De Knight.
  • George Washington Carver
    Enjoy soups and salads inspired by the agricultural work of the famed scientist.
  • Sarah Jordan Peruse the pies that were favorites among the boarding house guests from Edison's Menlo Park Laboratory.
  • Burbank Potatoes Celebrates botanist Luther Burbank's glorious spuds with a baked potato bar par excellence.
  • From the Archives Explore special menus and recipes discovered in the archives of the Benson Ford Research Center.
