Al Unser, Jr., was born into a racing family, and he added his own proud chapter to the Unser story. “Little Al” won championships in Can-Am, IROC and Indy car, and he earned two victories at the Indianapolis 500.
- Al Unser, Jr., 1978-1985 - Al Unser, Jr., began racing at an early age. He debuted on the CART circuit in 1982. He won IROC championships in 1986 and 1988. Unser won his first Indianapolis 500 in 1992 and his second in 1994. This is one of thousands of photographs donated by Bobby and Lisa Unser to The Henry Ford.
