- "DuMont Television, the 21-Inch Oxford," 1952 - In the experimental days of television, Dr. Allen B. DuMont pioneered both television manufacture and broadcasting. DuMont Laboratories were responsible for many early technical innovations, including the first consumer-oriented electronic television set in 1938. In 1946, DuMont created his own television network, which rivaled NBC until competition forced its broadcasting to cease in the mid-1950s.

- Ford Motor Company Branch in Santo Amaro, Sao Paulo, Brazil, circa 1929 - Ford Motor Company operated sales and service branches in cities around the world. Ford formed a Brazilian subsidiary, Ford Brasil, in 1919. The company opened its first factory there, at Sao Paulo, in 1921. Other factories followed. Separately, Henry Ford unsuccessfully attempted to establish rubber plantations in north-central Brazil. Ford Motor Company ended vehicle production in the country in 2021.
