Car Climbs Difficult Flight of Steps, July 1911
- Ford Motor Company Stockholders, June 1911 - Seven of Ford Motor Company's most prominent stockholders were pictured in this image from 1911. Over the following years, Henry Ford methodically and clandestinely bought up shares from minority stockholders until he obtained a controlling interest. When the task was finished in 1919, Mr. Ford at last had complete control of Ford Motor Company.

That year, leatherette upholstery was phased in on open cars as a less expensive substitute for real leather. The coupelet, Ford's first convertible coupe model, also debuted for 1915. Touring car prices started at $440, while coupelets were priced starting at $590.

Ford's Old Time Orchestra recorded for several record companies, including Victor, Columbia, and Edison.
