- Automobile Quarterly's Award for Design Excellence Presented to the 1962 Corvair Super Spyder - Automotive enthusiast publication <em>Automobile Quarterly</em> presented its 1962 Award for Design Excellence to General Motors for the Corvair Super Spyder. The concept car, championed by GM design head Bill Mitchell, was based on Chevrolet's rear-engine Corvair compact car. The Super Spyder featured a racing-inspired windshield, a rear tonneau cover, and six chrome exhaust pipes.

Automobile Quarterly's Award for Design Excellence Presented to the 1962 Corvair Super Spyder
Automotive enthusiast publication Automobile Quarterly presented its 1962 Award for Design Excellence to General Motors for the Corvair Super Spyder. Awards Award Model, 1981 - Starting in the early 1980s--and already established as an internationally recognized architect--Michael Graves began to pursue a parallel career as a product designer. Over the following three and a half decades he and his collaborators designed everything from humble household goods to limited edition luxury items for clients as diverse as Steuben, Alessi, Target, J. C. Penney, and Disney.

- American Hair Design Institute Certificate of Membership Awarded to Velma Truant, 1957 - Velma (Toth) Truant (1928-2021) graduated from Detroit's Del-Mar Beauty School in 1947. She began her hairstyling career in the salon at Hudson's department store in downtown Detroit. Over the next three decades, Truant continued her professional training in Michigan and New York. She worked until the early 1980s, serving clients at several corporate Hudson's salons and from her Allen Park, Michigan, home.

Velma (Toth) Truant (1928-2021) graduated from Detroit's Del-Mar Beauty School in 1947. She began her hairstyling career in the salon at Hudson's department store in downtown Detroit. Over the next three decades, Truant continued her professional training in Michigan and New York. She worked until the early 1980s, serving clients at several corporate Hudson's salons and from her Allen Park, Michigan, home.
