- "Mountainous View on Logan Pass," Glacier National Park, 1935 - This postcard shows the Going-to-the-Sun Highway. The over fifty mile long route traverses the center of Glacier National Park in Montana. Work began in 1921 and was completed in 1932. Previous to completion, tourists arrived by train and viewed the park from horseback. Today, the roadway allows motorists access to the nation's tenth National Park.
