Tin and Iron Wares, San Francisco, Cal., 1890
- Bicycle Polish Tin, circa 1895 - Late 19th-century cyclists cared for their vehicles by using a variety of specialized products and accessories. One such product was Franklin's Excelsior Enamel Bicycle Polish and Lubricant. The polish manufacturer, William A. Franklin of Rochester, New York, claimed the product would "prevent rust and remove all scratches from the enamel." The product also lubricated and cleansed the chain if applied freely.

Over 6000 of these rugged hand presses were sold between 1835-1902; many specialist printers continue to use them today. This press was donated by George Booth, Detroit News publisher and founder of the Cranbrook Educational Community.
- "Ti-Pi-Tin, the Sensational Waltz Song," 1938 - In 1938, "Ti-Pi-Tin" became Mexican composer Maria Grever's first big hit after moving to America. Finding no interest, Grever published it herself. Bandleader Horace Heidt heard the song and recognized its possibilities. His orchestra played it on NBC radio--immediately launching the song to success and creating a demand for sheet music. To keep up, Grever allowed Leo Feist Inc. to publish it.
