- Jerry O'Mahony Diners, 1936-1950 - The New Jersey-based Jerry O'Mahony Dining Cars was one of the leading diner manufacturers for decades, building hundreds of diners in numerous styles and giving many diner builders their start. The New Jersey-based Jerry O'Mahony Dining Cars was one of the leading diner manufacturers for decades, building hundreds of diners in numerous styles and giving many diner builders their start. This contact sheet of 4"x5" negatives, created 1975 for Richard J. S. Gutman's book, American Diner, shows several diners made by the company.
- Diners' Club Card, 1976-1977 - Diners Club, founded in 1950, was the first to issue a credit card exclusively for travel and entertainment. With this card, members had access to a variety of restaurants, hotels, and car rental services. The card's success led to the growth of the credit card industry.

- "Brill Steel Diners Now Van Equipped," 1928 - Since 1868, the J. G. Brill Company had manufactured horsecars, railroad cars, and streetcars. With the increased popularity of diners in the 1920s, Brill introduced a line of all-steel diners in 1927. The reference to "Now Van Equipped" on the cover of this catalog relates to the use of high-quality restaurant equipment supplied by the Pick-Barth-Van Organization.
