It had a wide-ranging stock of original photographs, including this image of the Northern Pacific Railway's depot at Gardiner, Montana. Gardiner was a gateway to Yellowstone Park. From the railroad station, workers assisted visiting tourists through the park's north entrance.

- Detroit, Toledo, and Ironton Railroad Station, Wyandotte, Michigan, June 1926 - After Henry Ford purchased the Detroit, Toledo & Ironton Railroad in 1920, he invested some $15 million in improvements to the line's physical plant. Ford rebuilt track with heavier rail; repaired or replaced bridges; and improved stations, warehouses and roundhouses. DT&I's passenger stations, like this one at Wyandotte, Michigan, received new coats of standardized gray paint.

The short suburban trains accommodated tourists during the busy summer season. These trains made frequent daily trips between Petoskey and the resort communities of Harbor Springs or Alanson to the north, and Walloon Lake to the south.

- Smiths Creek Railroad Station during the Greenfield Village Restoration Project, May 2003 - By 2000, Greenfield Village began showing its age. Buildings and crumbling infrastructure desperately needed repair. Museum planners envisioned a revitalized village. They created themed "Historic Districts" by relocating and refurbishing the historic structures. Workers repaved streets and upgraded water, sewer, electric, and gas lines. In June 2003, nine months after restoration began, visitors passed through a new entrance into a reborn Greenfield Village.
