- White City Amusement Park, Chicago, Illinois, circa 1910 - This postcard features the midway of Chicago's White City Amusement Park and the city's unofficial motto "I will." Both the name "White City" and the slogan "I will" were synonymous with the 1893 World's Columbian Exposition. When the amusement park opened in 1905, the parks' owners utilized the imagery and architecture of the 1893 fair to attract crowds.

He relocated from Massachusetts to California in 1875 and bought land in Sebastopol starting in 1885. Burbank employed around 15 laborers by 1913 on this 18-acre experimental plot.
