- Thor Motorcycle, circa 1913 - Aurora Automatic Machinery Company of Aurora, Illinois, first supplied Thor brand engines to other motorcycle makers, including Indian. The company began producing its own complete cycles in 1907, again under the Thor name. This chain-driven motorcycle is fitted with an advanced seven-horsepower V-twin engine. It sold for around $175. Aurora ended motorcycle production in 1919.
