This 1907 Brush Runabout Company catalog features a low-price, two-seat runabout. Brush and other car companies competed for sales to the general public, but none could compete with the Ford Model N's performance and value for the money.
- 1911 Brush Runabout - With its one-cylinder engine and wooden axles, the Brush was hardly sophisticated. But the Detroit-based company made a virtue out of the car's simplicity. Brush advertisements proclaimed it, "A simple design made well, not a complicated design made cheaply." Two-seat runabouts like this one started at just $450. Brush was in business from 1906 to 1912.
