- Franklin Skating & Athletic Club Bicycle Derby Trophy Won by Roy Mobeck, 1918 - Roy Mobeck, of Chicago, Illinois, began bicycle racing as an amateur in the late 1910s. He participated in and won several local competitions. Mobeck won this trophy at the Franklin Skating and Athletic Club Bicycle Derby in 1918. In the early 1920s, the cyclist turned professional and competed in a number of six-day races throughout the Midwest.
