- Painting of the Original Ford Model T Assembly Line, Made for Institutional Advertising in 1944 - Ford took continued pride in its moving assembly line, introduced in 1913-1914, which raised production and lowered prices for the Model T. This painting, created for an advertisement in a 1944 issue of <em>Look</em> magazine, illustrated an early chain-driven chassis assembly line. The accompanying ad copy explained that it cut Model T assembly time from 14 hours to 93 minutes.
