- Pacific Coast Championship Sports Car Races, Del Mar, California, May 1960 - Dave Friedman captured and preserved auto racing history through his photography. His work -- and his collection of works by other photographers -- documents key races, cars, drivers, and teams. Bob Bondurant won SCCA's Pacific Coast Championship Sports Car Race in his #51 Chevrolet Corvette. It was one of a series of races held at California's Del Mar Fairgrounds on May 14-15, 1960.

- The David Brown Aston Martin DB5 Saloon, 1964 - British automaker Aston Martin produced the DB5 from 1963 to 1965. Its name honored David Brown, who owned the company from 1947 to 1972. Though a remarkable automobile in its own right, with a body designed by Italian coachbuilder Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera, the DB5 is best known for its role as James Bond's car in the 1964 spy movie <em>Goldfinger</em>.
