- Greenfield Village Gatehouse, 1930 - In 1930, Henry Ford commissioned Robert Derrick to create a gatehouse entrance for Greenfield Village. Like the Museum, the gatehouse was designed in a colonial revival style. This decorative building provided an orientation to the historic site. Visitors purchased tickets in a large entry hall and proceeded into the Village. In 2003, the building was updated to provide accessible accommodations for visitors with disabilities.
