- Advanced Design Group Working at Ford Motor Company Dearborn Engineering Laboratory, 1948 - Automotive designers were photographed in 1948 while working at their drafting tables in the Ford Engineering Laboratory in Dearborn, Michigan. Ford built the lab in 1923-1924 to house its tool design, production engineering and experimental engineering research departments. The facility was expanded several times over the years. It later housed the advanced design studio and powertrain engineering facilities.

This 1947 issue featured an article on automobile design miniatures. Designer Audrey Moore Hodges, perhaps one of the first full-time female automobile designers, is pictured working on a Studebaker.

- Sheet of 12 Michigan "I Voted" Stickers, 2024 - In 2024, the Michigan Secretary of State held an "I Voted" sticker design contest. That September, Secretary Jocelyn Benson announced the winners from each of three artist groups: Elementary/Middle School, High School, and General. Designs included a werewolf, lighthouse, rainbow trout, and the simple statement "I voted yay." The nine winning designs were available to voters for the 2024 November election.
