- Mary Hall, Dormitory on the Berry Schools Campus, Mount Berry, Georgia, circa 1935 - In 1902, Martha Berry established a school near Rome, Georgia, to educate local underprivileged children. As the school grew, Berry solicited funds from many wealthy Americans. She invited Clara and Henry Ford to the school in 1921. The Fords were impressed. Clara and Henry became lifelong benefactors and funded construction of several campus buildings.

- Dormitory at Ford Motor Company Cherry Hill Plant, 1945 - Ford Motor Company opened its plant at Cherry Hill, Michigan, in 1944. The factory's employees -- many of whom were veterans disabled in World War II -- manufactured radiator petcocks and ignition locks for Ford vehicles. An on-site dormitory provided room and board for about 20 residents. The Cherry Hill plant closed in 1945, and most employees were transferred to other Ford facilities.

From the tens of thousands of negatives, the company created prints, postcards, lantern slides, panoramas, and other merchandise for sale to educators, businessmen, advertisers, homeowners and travelers.
