- Ford Model T Gas Tank Assembly at the Highland Park Plant, 1913 - Ford Motor Company employees assemble Model T gas tanks at the company's Highland Park plant in this 1913 photo. The workers at right are attaching sediment bulbs -- to catch debris carried in with fuel -- to the bottoms of the tanks. The workers at left are testing tanks for leaks by filling them with compressed air while holding the tanks underwater.

- Peerless Gasoline Tank Cap, 1919-1931 - Beginning in 1915, the Aluminum Goods Manufacturing Company of Manitowoc, Wisconsin, supplied parts such as hubcaps and gasoline-tank caps to automotive manufacturers. This fuel cap was made for the Peerless Motor Car Company in Cleveland, Ohio.

Beginning in 1915, the Aluminum Goods Manufacturing Company of Manitowoc, Wisconsin, supplied parts such as hubcaps and gasoline-tank caps to automotive manufacturers. This fuel cap was made for the Peerless Motor Car Company in Cleveland, Ohio.
- Gasoline Tank Department, Ford Plant at Cork, Ireland, March 1929 - Henry Ford formed an Irish subsidiary company, Henry Ford & Son Limited, in 1917. Two years later, he opened a tractor plant in County Cork, Ireland -- his father's birthplace. Soon the factory began producing automobile engines and parts for Ford factories in England. Apart from a temporary closure during World War II, the plant remained in operation until 1984.
