Pilot Wilmer Stultz and mechanic Louis Gordon controlled the airplane. Four years later Earhart repeated the trip, by herself, at the controls of a Lockheed Vega. Earhart's flight took her from Newfoundland to Northern Ireland in 14 hours, 56 minutes.
