- Time Magazine, "Mass Producer," March 23, 1942 - Henry Ford was featured on the cover of <em>Time</em> magazine on three occasions during his lifetime: on issues dated July 27, 1925; January 14, 1935; and March 23, 1942. The 1942 edition referred to Ford as a "mass producer," with the cover illustration also including B-24 airplanes built at Ford Motor Company's Willow Run bomber plant.

- The Engineering Magazine, May 1914 - Horace Lucien Arnold, a correspondent for <i>Engineering Magazine</i>, recognized the significance of Ford Motor Company's moving assembly line and began a series of detailed articles on it in 1914. After Arnold's untimely death in early 1915, Fay Leone Faurote continued the project. The finished articles were then combined and published in book form as <i>Ford Methods and the Ford Shops</i>.
