Chadwick Pre-Production Prototype Office Chair, 2005
- Aeron Task Chair, Pre-Production Prototype, 1994 - Designers Don Chadwick and Bill Stumpf explored new materials that could replicate the cooling effect of historic wicker furniture and studied human sitting habits to create Herman Miller's groundbreaking Aeron task chair. One of the last in a series of experimental prototypes, this 1994 version incorporates the distinctive skeletal appearance that exemplified the production Aeron introduced later that year.

Aeron Task Chair, Pre-Production Prototype, 1994

- Office Chair, Made 1923, Used by Henry Ford at the Ford Motor Company Engineering Laboratory - Sidney Houghton, a high-end interior designer based in London, was commissioned by Henry Ford for a number of projects in the 1920s. In 1924, Houghton furnished Henry and Edsel Ford's personal offices in the newly completed Ford Engineering Laboratory. Houghton designed and fabricated everything for the offices -- from furniture to lighting to textiles -- at his workshops in England.
