- Edsel Ford's Yacht, "Onika," at Hobe Sound, Florida, circa 1930 - Edsel and Eleanor Ford commissioned their yacht <em>Onika</em> in 1930. The 115-foot-long vessel, built by Pusey & Jones of Wilmington, Delaware, contained four staterooms and was powered by two 275-horsepower diesel engines. The Fords primarily used <em>Onika</em> near their vacation home in Florida, but it was designed to be usable on the Great Lakes as well.

Edsel and Eleanor Ford commissioned their yacht Onika in 1930. The 115-foot-long vessel, built by Pusey & Jones of Wilmington, Delaware, contained four staterooms and was powered by two 275-horsepower diesel engines. The Fords primarily used Onika near their vacation home in Florida, but it was designed to be usable on the Great Lakes as well.
