- "Ballerina on Stage" by Virgil M. Exner, 1957 - Though best remembered for his design work under Harley Earl at General Motors Corporation, at Raymond Loewy's industrial design firm, at Studebaker Corporation, and in Chrysler Corporation's Advanced Styling Studio, Virgil Exner was also an artist at home. He made time for the fine arts, especially while recuperating from a 1956 heart attack. Exner created this expressive pastel in 1957.

- Drawing of the Washington Monument by Edsel Ford, 1909 - Edsel Ford created this drawing when he was a teenager. Like many doting parents, Henry and Clara Ford saved their only child's artwork. Clara nurtured Edsel's love of art and Henry encouraged his interest in automobiles. As Edsel grew, his creative and artistic sensibilities matured and he developed a talent for automotive design.

- Mercury Cougar Concept Drawing by Alex Tremulis, 1951 - Alex Tremulis designed for several American automakers and coachbuilders over his long career. The 1930s found him with Auburn-Cord-Duesenberg, American Bantam and Briggs. After wartime work for the Army Air Corps, Tremulis styled the futuristic Tucker 48. Then it was on to Kaiser-Frazer. Tremulis was with Ford's design department from 1952-1962. He established his own consulting firm in 1963.
