- Trade Card for Jones Bros. Tea Company, 1872-1892 - In the last third of the nineteenth century, an unprecedented variety of consumer goods and services flooded the American market. Advertisers, armed with new methods of color printing, bombarded potential customers with trade cards. Americans enjoyed and often saved the vibrant little advertisements found in product packages or distributed by local merchants. Many survive as historical records of commercialism in the United States.

In the last third of the nineteenth century, an unprecedented variety of consumer goods and services flooded the American market. Advertisers, armed with new methods of color printing, bombarded potential customers with trade cards. Americans enjoyed and often saved the vibrant little advertisements found in product packages or distributed by local merchants. Many survive as historical records of commercialism in the United States.
- Employee Filling Bottles with Pickles, H. J. Heinz Company Main Plant, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, June 23, 1908 - Before the Heinz name was synonymous with ketchup, the H. J. Heinz Company was known for its many varieties of pickles. Every day Heinz's team of female employees, referred to as "Heinz Girls," meticulously packed pickle jars. Different sized pickles were placed in uniquely sized jars which required fluted wands to accurately pack the pickles into their specific arrangements.
