The event also served as the official dedication of The Edison Institute, Ford's museum complex named in honor of his friend. Local guests received a guidebook, badge, windshield sticker, and directions if they decided to drive to Greenfield Village.

- Constitution and By-Laws of the State Champions Club, Ford Good Drivers League, 1941-1942 - Ford Motor Company created the Good Drivers League in 1940. Headed by Edsel Ford, the League promoted safe driving habits among high school students. The League initially invited boys to compete in state and national championships--girls would join in 1941. Contestants wrote essays and participated in driving tests. National champions won trophies and scholarships. America's entry into World War II ended the program.

- "National Hot Rod Association Official Drag Rules," 1961 - Wally Parks formed the National Hot Rod Association in 1951 to establish formal safety and competition rules for drag racing. NHRA published annual rule books with updates to the organization's policies and procedures. This 24-page rule book from 1961 reflects a growing but still maturing racing series. More recent NHRA rule books are well over 400 pages long.

- Mcity Shuttle Rules Sign, 2018 - Mcity, an advanced mobility research center at the University of Michigan, operated two driverless shuttles on its campus for 18 months in 2018-19. The research project studied public attitudes toward autonomous vehicles. This sign informed riders that they would be photographed and recorded as a part of the study. It also listed general policies for the shuttles' operation.
