- Yoo-Hoo Chocolate Flavored Beverage Bottle, 1955-1965 - Natale Olivieri added a chocolate flavored drink to the homemade fruit juices he sold at his grocery store in the mid-1920s. The New Jersey entrepreneur named the drink Yoo-hoo. Customers loved it and he bottled the beverage for wider distribution. More success followed in the 1950s, when members of the New York Yankees touted Yoo-hoo as the "The Drink of Champions."

- Vernor's Ginger Ale Recipes, circa 1950 - Vernor's Ginger Ale, one of the oldest surviving soft drinks in the United States, was created in Detroit and remains a favorite beverage of Michiganders. As a means to increase sales, recipe booklets were created and distributed to retailers of the beverage. These booklets, such as the one shown here, included a variety of recipes, from "Vernor's Hawaiian Punch" to "Baked Ham a la Vernor's."
