- Vandeveer Park (Woods), Children Wading, 1890-1915 - In 1890, Jenny Young Chandler, 25 years old and recently widowed, began working for the <em>New York Herald</em>. As a photojournalist and feature writer, Chandler captured life in Brooklyn, New York, and vicinity. By 1922, the time of her death, she had produced over 800 glass plate negatives. Her sensitive, insightful photographs depict people from all walks of life and the world in which they lived.

The Trans-Am Series 1967 Kent 300 took place at Pacific Raceways in Kent, Washington, on October 8. Mark Donohue earned the win in the #6 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28.
- Pennant, "Gettysburg, Pa.," 1947 - After World War II, highways were flooded with family vacationers out to enjoy their new cars and all that America had to offer. Some families wanted to view the country's scenic beauty; others headed for places of historic importance. This 1947 pennant depicts the Jennie Wade House in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. Wade was the only civilian killed during the Civil War's Battle of Gettysburg.
