Life magazine produced several issues before and after the event to keep the public informed on this historic undertaking.
- Woodstock Music Festival Flag, 1969 - On August 15-18, 1969, over 400,000 people attended the Woodstock Music and Art Fair in Bethel, New York. Vendors, musicians, and technical crew used this flag, which features the event logo, to access the festival grounds and backstage area and to distinguish them from other attendees. Woodstock is often remembered as a zenith of the 1960s countercultural movement.

The journal documents the experiences of gay men in rural American communities, rejecting the mindset that gay men can only have fulfilling lives in urban areas with large LGBTQ+ communities. First published in Grinnell, Iowa, the journal is still published today.
