Independent Storytelling at Giant Screen Experience
Experience cinema that challenges the mainstream and celebrates the spirit of independent filmmakers with a new film series at The Henry Ford's Giant Screen Experience, in collaboration with Utopia — a film distribution and production company that puts fearless storytelling in focus.
Highlighting documentaries and full-length features, The Henry Ford x Utopia offers an immersive, rare opportunity for viewers to engage with these boundary-pushing works in Metro Detroit as they were meant to be seen — big, bold and uncompromising.
Rooted in a mission to support the next wave of filmmakers, The Henry Ford x Utopia recognizes that innovation takes many forms — from technological breakthroughs to groundbreaking artistic expression across mediums. Each screening will draw thoughtful connections to The Henry Ford's collections, current exhibitions, on-site programs or cultural observances that explore the power of expression in influencing culture and sparking change.
