Day Out With Thomas™: The Bubble Tour is Heading to The Henry Ford for a Train Ride Adventure


(Dearborn, Mich. – March 25, 2024) – All Aboard! Thomas the Tank Engine, everyone’s favorite #1 blue engine, is coming to town and bringing a bubbly new spin to Day Out With Thomas events. For the first time ever, Thomas & Friends will be celebrating the magic of bubbles with Day Out With Thomas: The Bubble Tour. The Bubble Tour will be stopping at The Henry Ford’s Greenfield Village May 4-5, 11-12 & 18-19, 2024.

Every ticket includes an interactive train ride with a life-sized Thomas the Tank Engine as well as access to a full day of activities for all to enjoy including live entertainment, photo ops with Sir Topham Hatt, lawn games and shopping at the pop-up gift shop for exclusive Thomas swag.

This year, Day Out With Thomas is celebrating bubbles. Guests can expect plenty of bubbly, family-friendly activities in the Bubble Zone as well as lawn games and storytelling. Even Thomas will be getting in on the fun, as fans can snap photos with Thomas, who will be adorned with bubbles. With plenty of activities for everyone, guests are encouraged to invite family and friends to create new memories that are certain to last a lifetime. This celebration of bubbles is not to be missed.

Guests can start their visit to Day Out With Thomas with the Railroader’s Brunch at A Taste of History in Greenfield Village. The brunch will feature a kid-friendly menu, music by the Picks & Sticks Stringband, along with storytelling and a visit from Sir Topham Hatt. This ticket includes brunch at Taste of History, VIP parking, admission to Greenfield Village for Day Out With Thomas programming, and a special 10:30 a.m. train ride aboard Thomas the Tank Engine.

Tickets for an unforgettable day at Day Out With Thomas: The Bubble Tour are on sale now and available at thf.org. Admission includes a timed ticket to ride on Thomas the Tank Engine and themed programming for your littlest engineer — plus, all-day access to Greenfield Village for over 80 acres of inspiration.
